Martone earned a PIPP Award for its restoration of the stone church, which showcases the work of several internationally recognized 19^th-century artisans.  First, the team addressed structural issues in the sanctuary, refastening and securing beams and joists. Then, the sanctuary and arch were re-plastered, and interior and exterior surfaces re-painted.  The crown jewel of the project is the decorative painting in the sanctuary, where nine different stencil and gold-leafed designs were replicated.
