Kingston Station
Compared to historic photographs, the Kingston Station looks much as it did when it first opened to the public in 1875.
This New York, Providence and Boston Railroad depot is one of the oldest railroad stations in continuous operation in the country. Martone earned a 2007 PIPP Award for its complex exterior rehabilitation. In addition to the sensitivity of working on a historic landmark, the team could not disrupt operations — at a station receiving five trains per hour, some passing through at 130 mph!
