Kingston Station
One of the oldest railroad stations in continuous operation in the country, Kingston Station required the seamless introduction of modern systems.
Situated along the corridor serving New York, Providence and Boston, and near the University of Rhode Island, Kingston Station hosts 150,000 passengers annually. Our interior renovation modernized facilities, while preserving the building’s historic character and ongoing operations. Work spanned restoring windows, interior plaster and wood surfaces, installing new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, introducing ADA compliant bathrooms, upgrading IT and wireless systems, and putting in mobile device charging stations.
