YMCA Camp Fuller
YMCA’s Camp Fuller sought to modernize facilities on its more than 100-year-old idyllic seaside campus.
Located on 65-acres on the coast of Rhode Island, Camp Fuller was the setting for the movie Moonrise Kingdom. Martone reconstructed the camp’s bathroom and shower facility during the off-season. Rotted walls on the existing structure put it at risk of collapse (once it was opened). We provided temporary support to the roof, and began structural framing to stabilize the building. Next, existing slab was demolished to enable installation of all new plumbing underground. Finally, our team poured a new slab, completed the interior fit out and painted.
